About The Product

What is bacteriostatic water?

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water that contains a small concentration of benzyl alcohol (0.9%, or 9 mg/mL) as a preservative. The benzyl alcohol inhibits the growth of most bacteria, which allows the vial to be safely accessed multiple times over a period of up to 28 days. This makes it the preferred solvent for multi-dose reconstitution protocols, as opposed to sterile water for injection, which must be discarded after a single use.

Testing & Quality

What does your 7x testing protocol include?

Every batch of PureBac undergoes independent testing across seven quality markers: Purity, Identity, Net Content, Heavy Metals, Endotoxins, Sterility, and Variance (Conformity). Full results are documented in a Certificate of Analysis (COA) that is publicly accessible by lot number on our website.

Usage & Storage

How long does a vial last after opening?

Once punctured, a vial of PureBac bacteriostatic water should be stored in the refrigerator (2–8°C / 36–46°F) and used within 28 days. After 28 days, the vial should be discarded, even if solution remains.
